Information
Rockin' Nippon is a Japanese Music TCG that covers all genres in Japanese Music. It was originally created by Ayay as Music Station on January 29, 2011, which was previously an Idol TCG named Only You and a Jrock TCG named Media Junky. Rockin' Nippon was officially opened for prejoin on August 18, 2014 and the official opening was on September 1, 2014.What is a TCG?
Online Trading Card Games are similar to the trading cards you knew as a child. Rather than playing in person and collecting cards from packs at the store, you collect everything online. The goal is to collect all of the cards you like, also know as mastering a deck. Online TCGs are free to play, a lot of fun, and very addictive! Interested in joining? Check out the rest of this section before moving on to the join form!Trade Post
Before you join, you need a place to store your stuff, also know as a trade post. To make life easier for you and for your fellow TCG members, you should separate your cards, at least into groups of keeping and trading. You are also required to keep a detailed card log, showing how you got every card. The final thing you need on your site is a way to contact you, either a form or an email link, so you can trade.Cards
There are several types of cards at Rockin' Nippon. The majority of decks are 20 cards a deck and are worth 1. These are "regular" cards.Group Artist | Band Member | Solo Artist | Promotional Video |
General Card Naming Guide:
- Group Artist: bandname## (e.g. direngrey01, morningmusume01)
- Solo Artists & Band Members with full names: fullname## (e.g. nishikidoryo01, kusumikoharu01)
- Artists with a single name or unique solo name: artistname## (e.g. dlite01, yui01)
- Band Members with a common single name: bandname-stagename## (e.g. malicemizer-mana01, girlsgeneration-jessica01)
- Promotional Videos: artistname-pvname## (momusu-passwordis001, direngrey-jessica01)
Photoshoot Decks are worth 2 and have 10 cards per deck. You can trade 2 regular cards for one special card. The naming for the photshoot cards follows the following format: artist-ps-deckname##. These are also known as "special" cards.

Member Cards, however, are worth 0, but each member has an infinite supply of their own member card, and can freely trade it with each member once. That is, Ayay cannot have two copies of Megumi's card.
Member cards can only be traded with other member cards.
Member Cards can be obtained when you join or through the member card form if you did not fill in that field when you joined.
Event Cards are worth 0 and are untradeable.
Currency
For currency at Rockin' Nippon, we are using Musical Notes. If you were a member during the original run of Music Station, these might look familiar to you. You can exchange them for pins on the forums. These pins can be permanent power-ups, temporary power-ups or card packs.Levels & Level Ups
